Hi. I am Louise. I am currently studying arts at Orede Art Academy. I have one little brother, named Axcy whom I consider one of my best friends. I can consider myself as a good sister. I don't talk a lot and I am a little bit shy. I am passionate about the things I want to work like studying, playing violin and painting. I am a Filipino. At age 6, we moved to South Africa. We stayed there till May 2019 and transferred here to Nigeria after that.

Q: When did you start becoming interested in art?
A: It started during the late pandemic period. I asked my mother to buy some acrylic colors for me and have my first painting in late of 2021.
Q: What mediums do you use?
A: I usually use acrylic as my medium. And now, I am learning how to sketch.
Q: How would you describe your style? What do you like to focus on in your and paintings?
A: I am more [into] scenery. I love paintings that have trees, mountains, sunset and sunrise.
Q: Walk us through your creating process. How do you take something in your imagination and put it on paper?
A: When I see something and there is an urge to paint it, I will just take my art materials and sit on my table. I will start my lay-out on the paper and start using my brush. I love to listen to some you tube videos also while painting.
Q: What inspires you?
A: My family inspires me. As long as we are complete, I am happy and inspired. They motivate and support me for anything that I would like to achieve. Their love is enough for me to keep learning new things.
Q: Is art important?
A: Yes, art is important because art is part of our daily lives. It helps us to express our emotions. It may also tell something about you or something about a place. Art is a way of communication also.
Q: What’s something you’d like to learn next about art?
A: I would love to learn more about the techniques used in painting. That would be great since I knew that there are lots of things that I should still learn.
